Even though my memory doesn’t say XMP , Gskill told me all of their memory is XMP and that is the setting they recommend. I have used it before but it will not boot if set their now. I tried one stick of memory by itself and it will boot .
6/26/2020 · XMP can only be enabled from the BIOS. Turn on your computer and tap the F2 or F10 key to boot to BIOS. If you do not know which key to tap, go through our guide on how to access BIOS. Look for a memory tab. Find XMP or Extreme Memory Profile. Select it and use either a different profile or manually set the overclock value. No XMP in BIOS. It is possible that you do not see XMP in your BIOS.
11/4/2019 · The reason why I made the post is because the sticks boot into windows with the XMP profiles but programs and games crash with it. For now I’ve stabilized the system with the bump to 1.4V. The stock XMP profile had 1.35V as stock. I would also like to ask is its ok for me to update my Mobo BIOS to the latest version.
